Chancel Choir- Rehearsal Tuesdays, 7:30-9:00 pm This mixed-voice, adult choir (high school age and older) supports the congregation’s singing and presents a variety of accompanied and a cappella music at our 9:15 am Sunday worship service and holiday services.
Contemporary Worship Band- Rehearsals are every other Saturday, 9:30-11:00 am The Contemporary Worship Band consists of guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboard players and singers. The band will occasionally also use other instrumentalists. The Contemporary Worship Band leads the worship music weekly at the 11:15 am Sunday service. Although all members of the band practice together, the members take turns presenting on Sunday. Typically, the band plays on Sundays with two guitars, one bass, keyboard, drums and 3 or 4 vocalists.
Jubilation Singers- Rehearsal Sundays, 10:45-11:15 am The choir is open to all children Kindergarten through 5th grade. At Jubilation, we focus on fostering a love of music and viewing music as a form of worship. Rehearsals often include instruments, choreography, and other creative techniques to help students connect with the music and the meaning behind it. The Jubilation Singers present music periodically at the 9:15 am Sunday worship service.
Handbell Choir The choir typically presents monthly during the 9:15 am service and for holiday services.
Festival Choir This choir rehearses on a short-term basis to prepare musical pieces for special occasions. Watch the Sunday bulletin for information on rehearsals and presentations.
Musicians Musicians are encouraged and appreciated to enhance the worship experience. Guest musicians are used often on Sunday over the summer when the choirs do not sing. Various musical opportunities exist at all services and special events during the year. If you play an instrument or have a talent you are willing to share, please contact the CLC Music Director.
